Richardson Surgical brings the instrumentation and implants to perform orthopedic surgery in your regular veterinarian’s clinic or hospital, allowing your pet to be treated by a team you know and trust.
About Dr. Richardson
Dan Richardson, originally from rural western Nevada, attended the University of Idaho (2005) for undergraduate study and Oregon State University (2009) for Veterinary School.
Always interested in surgery and specifically orthopedic surgery, some friends and mentors encouraged him to pursue building an ambulatory veterinary surgery service focusing on cranial cruciate ligament injuries. He is proficient in Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (abbreviated TPLO), several different fracture repair methods, and other surgeries as well.
The Richardson Family enjoys camping and spending time on the water fishing, paddle boarding, or digging their feet in the sand somewhere warm.
Being raised with a kennel full of hunting dogs, Dan has a special interest in sporting/hunting breeds and working dogs. During the fall and winter, he very much enjoys pursuing a number of game species.
